Germany, Luftwaffe. A Jagdgeschwader 6 Commemorative Plaque Archive Navy" manufacturer`s name printed on(Jagdgeschwader 6 Horst Wessel Plakette). Constructed of patinated silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a Sturmabteilung (SA) insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of JAGDGESCHWADER HORST WESSEL, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of TREUE UM TREUE (LOYALTY BEGETS LOYALTY), situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 80 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
