The estate was founded in 1902 by Pietro Castellani, but its level really skyrocketed thanks to the renovations and vision of the extremely modest Alessandro Castellani and his brother Nicola, who together form the fourth generation of winemakers at Ca' La Bionda. The estate has around 29 hectares of vineyards, laid out in terraces and planted with Corvina
