Constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five pointed star, the obverse with red enamelled arms, bearing a central medallion overlaid by a Red Army soldier in full uniform and clutching a rifle, surrounded by a border bearing a raised Russian Cyrillic inscription of , ! (WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!), joined together at the bottom by initials (USSR), situated above a hammer and sickle the reverse with a
