It is a tektite which is a glassy substance formed by a meteorite impact 15 million years ago. Moldavite is the only tektite that displays a beautiful green color and museum grade specimens exhibit splash forms and aerodynamic droplets. The most rare and sought after specimens are found in the Besednice region and display stunning
