Early Salesman Sample Wooden Folding Ladder alloy • 18" W x 7"Antique ladder scale model salesman sample. This piece appears to be made out of oak and stained to mimic the look of mahogany, likely what the final product was made of. This piece was used by an unknown manufacturing company as a means of showing prospective buyers what the final product would look like, in an easy to carry size. The ladder features eight rungs per side and a small surface along the top. Exhibits very minor scuffs and stain loss.
