After that, they went in a different direction. In that respect, The Scholars is a comeback record. It's an ambitious rock opera about various characters in a fictional college town that listens to Ziggy Stardust, Who's Next , and Smiley Smile . This is the compelling pathos for which we so appreciate Will Toledo and company.
