Bavaria, Kingdom. An Order Of Theresa In Gold, Ca. 1890 Archive maker marked on the reverse(Theresienordern in Gold). Instituted 12 December 1827 by Queen Theresa. (1827 1923 issue). An exquisite Order of Theresa, constructed of Gold with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with a Gold frame, joined together through the quadrants by diamond appliques presenting with a checkered blue and white enameled pattern, the arms finished with blue enamels trimmed with white enamel along the borders, the obverse bearing a central
