The CTH Ericson hat and cap factory started up in the Swedish town of Borlnge in 1885 by Carl Theodor Ericson. Mr. Ericson was a fourth generation hat maker and when he passed on in 1927, his son Nils carried on with the family business. The business flourished and the factory grew bigger in 1943.
