Hedychium Moy Giant Laurentia Despite its 165+ ageFrom the late Dr. Moy's breeding efforts at the San Antonio Botanical Garden comes this hybrid ginger lily (probably Hedychium gardnerianum x coronarium). The 7' tall, lushly foliaged clumps of Hedychium 'Dr. Moy' are topped in fall (early October in NC) with large, lusciously fragrant trusses of very light yellow flowers, each with a contrasting dark yellow eye.
