Of French manufacture, in silver gilt presenting a cross with white, red and blue enamelled arms, the obverse medallion features a centerpiece with a DI cypher on a red enamelled field, encircled by a blue enamelled ring with the inscription (For the Independence of Montenegro), again surrounded by a white enamel ring, the reverse medallion presents the year 1852 3 in Gold on
