The base is white ceramic (possibly Royal Doulton or Casa Pupo) the shade has been professionally made using some amazing 1960s waffle textured cotton fabric which i think is French

wooly style (like the rugs) complete with feather pad inside

Even her tiny fingers are in great condition

This is a really lovely vintage letter
