Moldavite 72 - 2.7 grams feldspar 5" x 1" and 1162. 7 gram Moldavite from the Chlum strew field. Moldavite is found only in the South Bohemia region of the Czech republic. It is a tektite which is a glassy substance formed by a meteorite impact 15 million years ago. Moldavite is the only tektite that displays a beautiful green color and museum grade specimens exhibit splash forms and aerodynamic droplets. The most rare and sought after specimens are found in the Besednice region and display stunning
