Germany, SS. A Latvian Waffen-SS Volunteer’s Sleeve Insignia Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic measures 33 mm (w) x(rmelschild der lettischen Freiwilligen der Waffen SS). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered red and white Latvian national emblem, overlaid at the upper left corner by a white inscription of LATVIJA, measuring 50 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), demonstrating moderate soiling and minor material fatigue, in uniform removed and better than very fine condition.
