Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, overlaid by a central rosette set within a circular laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 49. 22 mm (w) x 49. 12 mm (h), weighing 21. 8 grams, a rare example retaining most of its
