much taller (14" vs

great for the rock garden and very tolerant of moist conditions in full to part sun

albeit a truly fine one

we haven't seen any ill effects from regular irrigation as long as the soil is well-drained

Farfugium japonicum Genkai Jishi Panax much taller (14" vs(aka: Ligularia tussilaginea) Farfugium 'Genkai Jishi' is a special collectors clone of the popular woodland perennial, Farfugium japonicum. This Japanese selection, introduced to the US by plantsman Barry Yinger, makes a compact 1' tall x 18" wide clump of dark green leaves, each edged with a narrowly cut, ruffled serrated edge. The clumps are topped with spikes of yellow daisies, starting for us in mid October.
