Germany, HJ. A Rare Visor Cap for Senior Ranks, by Martin Biel Auction chips to the blue enamel(HJ Schirmmtze fr Fhrer). An extremely well preserved HJ visor cap for senior ranks (Bannfhrer and above), constructed of a khaki tan wool cloth with a gentle whipcord weave. It features reinforced side walls fully lined on the exterior with a black doeskin cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the band are trimmed with lengths of silver aluminum wire piping, with an additional band of identical piping surrounding the outer edge of the crown.
