It's French made, crafted in 18 karat gold and finished in vitreous green enamel. The words translate as "When this Pierrot will sing, my love will end" which is a sweet and playful romantic sentiment. Pierrot, if you're not familiar, is a stock character of pantomime and commedia dell'arte whose origins are in the late seventeenth
