A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Wilson stuided at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University, Fernand Leger's School in Paris, Instituto Politecnico in Mexico City, Esmeralda School of Art in Mexico City and Escuela de las Artes del Libro in Mexico City. Later, Wilson taught at the Boris Mirski School of Modern Art in Boston, the Boston School of the Museum of
