It has a fascinating character of spice and chili with in the nose aromas of black currant, plum and cherry fruit with a hint of licorice. A fine wine with a complex bouquet. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh and elegant finish. The name Ad Astra comes from the Latin expression Per Aspera Ad Astra "a rough road leads to the stars." An expression that also applies to great wines, for greatness
