Buddha Chair, Teak Kitchen The simplicity of the design

The simplicity of the design is enhanced by a seriously soft shade of gray we call Speckled Griffin gray and hardware that has been treated to an antique brushed brass finish

In our Marjorie Skouras Collection

That's because the design has been kept beautifully simple

a material that has been popular through the ages

In American White Oak and sandblasted to washed perfection

Buddha Chair, Teak Kitchen The simplicity of the designBuddha means "enlightened" and our hand carved teak chair embodies this goal. A literal representation of the protection asana (pose), the raised, open hand symbolizes a shield, signifying courage and offering protection from fear, delusion and anger.
