Ansgar Clüsserath 'Vom Schiefer' Riesling Mosel, 2022 042222 and fortified up to 17%This is 100% dry Riesling, "Vom Schiefer", literally "from the slate" soils. It is a lovely introduction to steep vineyards sites from the Middle Mosel. The grapes are sourced from three sites: Trittenheimer Altrchen, known for Rieslings with tropical citrus flavors, Neumagener Rosengrtchen, producing richer wines, and Mlheimer Sonnenlay, tucked into a side valley and having a slightly warmer microclimate. The wine is also vinified in old barrels and
